Anne Kruse

Research associate

Anne Kruse works as a research associate at CityLAB Berlin, where she primarily works on the topics of Smart City and participation. Previously, she worked as a strategy consultant advising numerous municipalities on digitalisation, municipal sustainability and Smart City. With a Masters of Science in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Cultural Management, she moves between the topics of urban development, communication and participation.

Anne Möller

Finance Project Manager

Anne Möller is a Finance Project Manager at the Technologiestiftung Berlin. She is responsible for the commercial accounting of grants and for overseeing procurement, especially for CityLAB Berlin. She serves as a bridge between the Technologiestiftung's finance department and the CityLAB's research work. She studied business administration at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and has several years of experience in working with grants.

Dr. Benjamin Seibel

Director

Dr. Benjamin Seibel is Director of our Ideation & Prototyping Lab. Before, he took care of Open Data Projects at the Technology Foundation Berlin. He did his Ph.D. in Darmstadt & Harvard on the early history of E-government and worked as a journalist and curator in New York City, Nicosia and Rotterdam.

Edmundo Galindo

UX/UI HCI Research & Design

Edmundo is an interface and industrial designer and works as a research assistant at CityLAB Berlin and Ideation & Prototyping Lab. With his experience in user experience, user interface, interaction design and human centered design, he has designed, conducted and evaluated numerous design thinking workshops for the administration, cultural landscape and civil society. He is currently working on various projects for the modernization of the government administration and its online services for civil society in the field of service design, user experience and develops prototypical solution approaches for digital applications with future-oriented visions.

He studied communication-design at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and had also a lectureship and was a lab supervisor in the department of interface design. Gosia Magdon

Coordination – CityLAB Berlin

Malgorzata, also called Gosia, Magdon is a classic all-rounder. Whether organizing events, creating brochures, or setting up rooms. She keeps the strings together in day-to-day business and is the first point of contact for everything that happens in our innovation lab in Tempelhof. She has an architectural background and is currently doing her master’s degree in building research and historic preservation. Gosia is always happy about the visitors at CityLAB who would like to exchange ideas about urban development over a cup of coffee.

Jeremias Volker is a Creative Technologist and Interaction Designer at the Technologiestiftung Berlin. He studied interface design at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences and later taught programming and generative design at the Magdeburg University of Applied Sciences. Most recently, he developed interactive digital content for exhibitions and stage performances.
